My name is Alexandra and I am an event, etiquette, and protocol professional who is beyond excited to be sharing my expertise with you! As a formally trained Protocol Specialist now working in the world of special events, I have seen etiquette and protocol applied in every day life to make a difference at work, at home, with friends, and even during interactions with strangers. Through my experience, I have come to learn and fully believe etiquette and protocol are truly about putting your best foot forward and being confident as you do. With the deep roots of etiquette and protocol applying to social events, being a host, dating, fashion, and so much more, they truly do come to play in your everyday life; and I am here to help you navigate life with the needed social graces!
Cheers y’all,
Alexandra
My Background
As a Protocol Specialist then an Events and Sports Specialist in the Washington, DC area, and now a special events professional for an international nonprofit, I have learned a lot about protocol and etiquette in modern society. In addition to my professional experience, I am a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington’s Protocol Officer Training certificate program and Emily Post’s Business Etiquette for Professionals Program.

And I am a proud University of Maryland alumna. Go Terps!
Hi Alexandra,
I came to your blog for today’s DC Ladies’ Blogtober challenge. This page does a great job of communicating your goals and purpose for your blog. I adore your “sparkle on” closing, which I noticed on your posts as well. I’d love to hear more about what being a Protocol Specialist entails. I must admit, protocol and etiquette are not things I know much about; I look forward to picking up some tips from your blog!
Happy Blogtober,
Hillary
